Monday August 11th and 18th Friends Meeting House, Settle Open singing workshops from 1.00pm-3.00pm, cost £4.00. The workshops will be led by Darren Everhart who is Director of Music at Giggleswick School, very experienced at working with different choirs and will teach a wide range of songs for participants to enjoy.
August 2nd Langcliffe Village Hall 10.30- Singing workshop tutor Jude Glendinning.
She is responsible for two singing courses on the Summer School for the DCE and a Short History of Opera course, as well as teaching singing in the Music Dept of Lancaster University.
Jude also teaches singing on the Musical Theatre degree course at the Arden in Manchester.
She sings with Five In A Bar, an a capella group singing “songs with Meaning, sung with feeling!" and also conducts the Junior Singing Festival at Lancaster Ashton Hall.
Monday 4th February AGM To be held in the Friends Meeting House at 3.00pm after the choir practice.
Monday 7th January Choir reconvenes after the Christmas break.

20th December Carol singing in Settle. Choir meets at 6.00pm.
16th December Carol concert in Settle Parish Church 6.00pm.
3rd November Choir meets in Austwick prior to performance for old folk.
9th May Settle Voices and friends perform at Bentham, Looking Well at 7.30.
March 19th Annual choir lunch at mid-day, venue to be confirmed.
February 19th Settle Voices AGM after choir practice in the Friends Meeting House. Open to all choir members.
January 20th Event in the Victoria Hall. Details tba
January 8th Term restarts: 1.00-3.00pm at the Friends Meeting House Settle. Newcomers are always welcome. Choir members pay £3.00/session, but the first visit is free.

2nd December Settle Station, Christmas Event with carols and seasonal songs 10.00am. All change: This event is to be held on December 9th, starting 9.45, due to work on the Settle Carlisle line.
17th November Age Concern, Hellifield, The Village Institute 10.30am
July 15th Settle railway station: 10.00am-mid-day participating in celebrations to mark the 130th anniversary of the first passenger train to run on the Settle/Carlisle line. Performing 10.15am and 11.15am.
July 6th Settle Voices Ordinary Meeting, Residents' Lounge. The Golden Lion, Settle, 8.00pm.
July 1st Hellifield, The Black Horse. 2.00-4.30pm workshop with Janet Russell, promoted by Village Well, Hellifield. 5.00-6.00pm concert, with course participants at The Black Horse.

The choir will be conducted by their leader Janet Russell who will also be performing a separate forty five minute slot at the same venue.
October 8th Free singing workshop, open to all, at Langcliffe Village Institute from 10.00-12.00 and 1.00-3.00. The workshop will be led by David Burbidge of Sedbergh. Among other things David will teach some Slovenian songs and a traditional English Folk Carol. You do not have to read music, you just need to enjoy singing. Hot drinks will be provided.
